The Plemmirio Marine Protected Area, established in 2004, stretches along the coast of the Maddalena Peninsula, with the lighthouse located at Capo Murro di Porco. It is a place of great natural and historical interest, with seabeds rich in archaeological finds, including ancient amphorae and remains of World War II aircraft. The marine fauna is extraordinary: in addition to sea urchins, starfish, corals, and various fish, you can spot tunas, swordfish, turtles, dolphins, and even tropical species like barracudas and mantas. Migratory birds, including pink flamingos and hawks, also find refuge along the coast. The vintage sailing excursions on Perseide offer two unique itineraries: the Bay of Pillirina, featuring the evocative Cave of the Pellegrina, and the wild coast of the Giant, rich in caves and coves. At both stops, you can snorkel and admire breathtaking landscapes.
