Overview
Discover the wild side of Tenerife on a guided hike through the Teno mountain range. Our adventure begins with a thrilling drive along the incredibly winding and stunning road that descends into the Masca Gorge. We'll pause briefly for a moment to take in the views of what many call the Canarian Machu Picchu. After a short drive along the mountain serpentine roads, we will begin our exciting trekking. We will walk past plantations of bananas, avocados, figs, citrus fruits. Next, we will delve into the wild forest. Our path will gradually gain height. In about 30 minutes we find ourselves in the gorge and continue the route along the dry riverbed. Everything around is reminiscent of the jungle - the vegetation amazes with a variety of shades of green, and the stone barriers - with bizarre shapes. Moving forward, the sound of the water intensifies - this stream overflows over the rapids, forming backwaters and natural pools of different shapes and heights, creating natural cascades of extraordinary beauty. The most difficult segment begins - the water rapids! This is the main goal of our trip. We do a little rest, change clothes and start the wet part of the route! We will spend about 1 hour here taking pictures, swimming in natural springs. We return back in the same way. As a reward for our short trekking in the mountains, guests will receive vivid impressions and photographs.
