Overview

“1576” is the first real adventure in Florence, presented in the form of a role-playing game. By participating in this game, you will experience the adventure while being completely immersed in the history of the Florentine Renaissance. You will leaf through the pages of a real diary through which you must solve the enigma by unraveling mysteries, interacting with the local population, and solving logical and physical puzzles. A completely new and unique way to discover Florence. The total duration of the game varies between 2 and 3 hours, but you can also play the adventure over multiple days. It’s up to you to decide whether to take breaks during your game or play it all at once. 1576 can be played by solo travelers, couples, or groups of up to 4 people.

What to bring?

What to bring: Smartphone with a charged battery (recommended for communications or navigation). Comfortable shoes. The experience takes place on foot in the historic center of Florence. Appropriate clothing for the season and weather (hat and water in summer, umbrella or raincoat in case of rain). Pen or pencil may be useful for taking notes or solving puzzles in the diary. Light backpack to comfortably carry the diary and provided tools. Reading glasses (if needed) for comfortably reading the diary and instructions.

National Museum of Bargello – Treasure trove of Renaissance sculptures and symbol of Florentine justice. Loggia dei Lanzi – Open-air gallery of historical statues, in the beautiful setting of Piazza della Signoria. Piazza della Signoria – Political and cultural center of Medici Florence, stage for events and legends.
