Accessibility: The direct route to the Basilica is not accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers due to stairs. An external route of 1.1 km can be taken to access the Basilica. Access and Regulations Dress Code: Shoulders and knees must be covered for entry into the Basilica and Sistine Chapel. Prohibited Items: Large backpacks and bags, large umbrellas. Allowed Items: Handbags, small backpacks, foldable umbrellas. Meeting Point Location: Viale Vaticano 100, in front of Caffè Vaticano, next to the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Time: 8:15 or upon request Identification: The guide will be visible with a sign displaying your name.
