Overview
The visit to Florence and Pisa from Rome is one of our best offers: two iconic cities in a day tour! The driver will pick you up at your hotel to reach Florence, the most famous city in Tuscany, rich in artworks, historic churches, palaces, and medieval bridges. You will be welcomed by your private guide, who will lead you to discover the city. After lunch, you will move to Pisa; you will explore Piazza dei Miracoli, known for its Leaning Tower, and if you wish, you can climb the famous Tower.
Special notes
Departure is scheduled for 7:30 AM. The driver will wait for you at your hotel/apartment/B&B in central Rome (any accommodation within a 10-kilometer radius of the Pantheon is considered central). In Pisa, you have an hour and a half of free time to climb the famous Leaning Tower. This is where Galileo conducted his experiments on gravity. For safety reasons, children who will not be eight years old by the end of this year cannot enter. An adult must accompany minors under 18. You may be asked to verify age. Please check the time of your visit. If you are late, you will not be allowed entry and will not be refunded. Bags/backpacks/luggage must be left in the cloakroom and collected at the end of the visit. The visit lasts about 30 minutes. The climb is on foot and there are 251 steps. The staff will welcome visitors with a brief description of the Tower's history. Please inform us if you do not intend to climb the tower.
