Sicily by bike: Erice and Monte Cofano

Private cycling tour for up to 8 people (groups of more than 8 available upon request). Guaranteed languages: Italian and English (other languages upon request). In the morning, pick up of participants at hotels located in Palermo, completion of formalities, settling into the private minivan, and departure to Trapani (the starting point of the bike tour). After leaving the minivan, and after preparing and handing over the bikes, we will ascend by bicycle with breathtaking views (optionally, for an additional fee, you can take the cable car with your bike) to Erice. Upon reaching the summit, free time for individual visits of the village. Descent by bicycle towards Cornino, enjoying splendid views of the Gulf of Trapani and the Egadi Islands. Upon arrival in Cornino, visit to the “Grotta di Mangiapane”, an exciting and scenic space dating back to the Upper Paleolithic, famous for the annual organization of a Living Nativity considered today the largest event promoting Sicilian crafts and popular traditions; lunch stop in Cornino with an optional visit to the Monte Cofano Nature Reserve. From Cornino, we will continue our ride along a coastal road closed to vehicle traffic until we reach the Tonnara di Bonagia for a short stop. We will then proceed to admire the sunset over the sea towards Trapani, from where we will depart for the return to Palermo. Arrival in the evening and end of services.
