All visitors, including those eligible for free entry, must hold a valid ticket. Tickets are valid only for the selected date and time. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early; there might be a short wait before your entry time. Visitors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 2 years enter free. ID may be requested by the staff—please carry valid ID or documents. No pets, food, or beverages are allowed inside the House. On site visit Duration is 6.5 hours. Strollers are not permitted inside the palace. The skip-the-line access is subject to the Versailles Palace procedures: The Vigipirate plan, the security control or an unforeseen crowd can slow down the entrance. Flat shoes are strongly recommended (Versailles has parquet floors in its rooms and cobblestones in its courtyard). Depending on the option chosen (private visit), the visit of the gardens at Versailles will not be guided. Photography and video are allowed (without flash) for personal use only. No refunds for no-show.
